En route to Chicago

We were going to drive from Cape Cod to Chicago in 2 days and weren't sure where we should stop for the night in between...and then, low and behold, we realized that Niagara Falls was sort of on the way! A bit imprompu but super cool, nevertheless! So there we were, in Niagara Falls, NY at 11pm on Tuesday. The only criteria for finding a motel was making sure it was close to the 24 hour Denny's since we hadn't had dinner yet. The Howard Johnson worked (although we were a bit weirded out that they had a sign that said 'we don't rent rooms to locals'). We walked over the border the next day and saw the fantastic views! Then off we went to Chicago. Happy we stopped! Even squeezed in some time at Tim Hortons.

Ah, Canada!!

Goodbye Canada, we'll see you in a week or so!

Cleveland...stopped for some lunch (a late one) here.
Crazy rain storm on our way to Chicago. We actually had trouble seeing in front of us.
We must be up to $100 in tolls so far! Although we have driven 12,000km so I suppose we're bound to encounter some tolls.

Cape Cod

Cape Cod was great! We stayed in two different areas (Brewster and Provincetown) and they're very different. Also did lots of cycling, checked out their beaches and continued the eating trend (had to check out the local seafood). Provincetown was one of our favourite towns of the trip.

New Haven and Yale

After Washington, DC, we went to New Haven, CT for a night and stayed with some friends who are doing their MBAs at Yale. Got a great tour of the campus and all of the highlights (shout out to Susan and Marvin!). They also made sure that we never went hungry!

Passed through a lot of states on our way to New Haven
